Construction Manager – Piling | Abu Dhabi

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in piling and foundation works to join a major construction and infrastructure organisation in Abu Dhabi.

This is a senior site-based position suited to an experienced piling professional with a strong track record of managing large-scale foundation and ground engineering packages.

The Role

As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing piling and foundation activities, managing construction teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and technical requirements.

The role will involve complex ground engineering works across major infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the construction and delivery of piling and foundation works.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors across complex ground engineering packages.
• Oversee piling, shoring and deep excavation works.
• Manage diaphragm walls, secant and contiguous pile walls.
• Oversee ground anchors, soil nailing and ground improvement works.
• Coordinate construction activities with engineering, project management and other site disciplines.
• Monitor programme, quality, resources and productivity.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant standards.
• Manage construction planning and sequencing to ensure efficient delivery.
• Work closely with project stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ construction experience.
• At least 8 years’ experience in a managerial capacity within piling and foundation works.
• Strong technical and practical experience across piling and ground engineering.
• Experience with piling, shoring, diaphragm walls, secant/contiguous pile walls, deep excavation systems, ground anchors, soil nailing and ground improvement.
• Experience working on major infrastructure, marine, bridge, tunnel, transportation, industrial or energy projects.
• GCC experience is preferred.
• Strong project management and construction leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
