Technical Manager – Major Bridge Project

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Manager to join the delivery of one of South America’s most significant bridge infrastructure projects.
Working with a leading international contractor, you will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of a landmark bridge project, overseeing engineering coordination, design management, technical compliance and providing engineering leadership throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all technical aspects of the project from construction through to completion.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
Manage the technical interface between the client, consultants and construction teams.
Review and approve engineering documentation, construction methodologies and temporary works where required.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards and quality requirements.
Resolve complex technical issues and provide engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the Project Director and wider management team in achieving programme, cost and quality objectives.
Drive collaboration between design and construction teams to ensure practical, buildable engineering solutions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess:
Extensive experience delivering major bridge construction projects.
A strong civil or structural engineering background.
Significant experience in a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager or similar senior engineering leadership role.
Proven experience on large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally with international contractors.
Strong knowledge of bridge engineering, construction methodologies and technical coordination.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
The ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in a complex project environment.
Fluent French language skills are essential.
Previous experience working on international projects would be highly advantageous.
