Role: Senior Civil Engineering Estimator – Manchester

Location: Manchester

Are you an experienced Senior Estimator with a Civils and Utilities background and a history successfully bidding Utilities projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to join a work winning team within a North West Regional office? Then a role within a Market leading Contractor could be for you.

My client is looking to recruit a Senior Estimator with a Civil Engineering and Utilities background to join their Manchester office.

The successful candidate will come from a Contracting background with a breadth of Civil Engineering experience and will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide variety of projects.

Your duties will include:

  • Manage the production of enquiry schedules and preparation of enquiry documents.
  • Manage Requests for Information and evaluate responses.
  • Prepare a project risk register.
  • Arrange Tender Adjudication Settlement and Tender Handover Meetings.
  • Lead Tender Adjudication.

Ideal Qualifications include:

  • HNC / HNC / Degree related to Civil Engineering / Utilities Sector.
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Estimating and construction activities.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project.
