Role: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you a driven Quantity Surveyor with experience working on major Infrastructure projects? Are you looking for an opportunity to join and help deliver a brand new, major Infrastructure scheme ? Then a role within a Global, Market leading, Tier 1 Contractor could be for you.
My client is looking to recruit an exceptional Quantity Surveyor AND Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the busy Commercial team and help manage various subcontract packages on a complex £150m infrastructure scheme involving heavy civils, utilities, infrastructure, building and surfacing works.
The successful candidate will have a good level of Commercial experience, preferably with a Main Contractor and will ideally have a suitable qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction related subject.
Duties:
- Liaise with the client, client representatives and other parties on Commercial issues
- Send out packages of enquiries
- Assist with the Procurement process
- Manage and control subcontract packages and change
Requirements:
- A good level of Commercial knowledge- ideally from a Contractor organisation
- Civils / Infrastructure experience
- Suitable Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Good knowledge and understanding of NEC Contracts
