A global Tier 1 Contractor is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide health, safety, quality and environmental advice and guidance on a major £150M Infrastructure project based in East Hampshire. The project will involve elements of major highways, surfacing, excavations, major earthworks and utilities (and more)

The successful candidate would have good H&S experience ideally with a Contracting organisation in civils, construction or Utilities

Tasks:

• Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the HSMS
• Undertake Site Inspections / audits
• Support the Project Teams in the accident / incident investigations procedure
• Support the Project Manager in the review and implementation of Construction Phase Plans / Project Execution Plan
• Communicate with line manager in regards to accidents and incidents

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or above in Occupational Health & Safety (Desirable)
• NEBOSH
• IOSH (Desirable)
• Previous experience within Highways and Civil Engineering / Construction
• Ideally worked with a Main Contractor
