ROLE: COMMERCIAL MANAGER
LOCATION: SOUTH YORKSHIRE
£50,000 – £65,000 + Package
The Highfield Company have been retained by one of our key clients to identify a Commercial Manager for their UK structural steel and Architectural Metalwork business.
They are looking to bring on board a confident and experienced Commercial Manager or Director to be based out of their head office based in South Yorkshire.
Management of a commercial team:
- Estimating department
- Quantity surveying
- Supply chain management
- Contract administration
- Cost capture and control
- Reporting
- Liaise with the Employers commercial team
- Implement commercial procedures and reporting to ensure compliance with company and contract requirements
- Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues.
Required Desired Experience
Degree level education or equivalent with training and qualifications in a related discipline
Experience in JCT Contracts
Strong experience in the construction industry
Experience of managing a medium size team
* Senior Quantity surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor or Estimating Manager
