Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Location: Surrey plus flexible working conditions

Company: Tier 1 Contractor

A hardworking, driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor is currently required for a market leading Tier 1 Contractor. You will join the company at a pivotal time, working on and assisting the Commercial team on major long term, Highways and Civils Infrastructure projects across Surrey. This is a secure, local, flexible role that will really help develop the right candidate.

Tasks:

• Agree sub-contract applications
• Prepare and submit of client billing
• Identify contract variations
• Cost and value reconciliations on complete works and works in progress
• Compile quotations for new work
• Keep appropriate records and schedules in all activities
• Report Monthly figures to senior management
• Process invoices, compiling invoices and updating spreadsheets
• Monitor project costs and feeding back cost value information to the site team

Requirements:

• Suitable Qualification held or working towards (Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, etc)
• Driven, motivated to learn
• Good verbal and written communication skills
