Commercial Manager – UAE
An established and growing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function across its UAE operations.
This is a senior, business-wide position providing commercial oversight across a portfolio of major marine and civil construction projects, not a role focused on the delivery of a single project.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the overall commercial performance of the UAE operations
- Oversee contract management, claims and commercial risk
- Manage cost control, forecasting and reporting
- Lead commercial management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Support tenders and new project opportunities
- Work with senior leadership to shape and deliver commercial strategy
Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong commercial leadership experience within the UAE contracting market
- A background in marine construction, civil engineering or major infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience in contracts, claims, cost management and risk
- The ability to operate strategically while maintaining oversight across multiple projects
- Strong stakeholder-management and leadership skills
